Hello
My name is Lajtaváry Martin (Márton). I was born in Buenos Aires in a Hungarian family where music was always present. My father, who was a fan of country and rock and roll music, transmitted the beauty of music to both me and my brothers from an early age. Until I decided to move to Hungary and take music one step further and to another level.
My story
At the age of 18 I moved from Buenos Aires (ARG) to Budapest (HUN) where I started my musical studies focused on the electric bass in popular music, jazz, blues, pop at the university of "Kőbányai Zenei Studió". I had the opportunity to learn music from the best musicians in Hungary including names like Babos Gyula, Csejtei Tamás, Póka Egon, Megyaszay István among others.
During my years at university I was recommended in different musical projects and I had the opportunity to play with various Hungarian artists (such as Torres Dani, Újvári Péter, Voga Viki, Mike Gotthard) and international (Brad Vee Johnson , Madeleine Davis from Boney M) both in local bars and international festivals, theaters and big stages. With my first personal project "Pálinka Republik" in 2014 we participated in the X-Faktor program where we were nominated among the last 13 participants. Later I put together my musical project "Márton & The Chimangos" where I performed in different cities in Hungary and places like "Akvárium Klub".
Today, at Chimango Music, I dedicate my life to music production and helping independent artists concretize their songs and ideas in a dynamic way and create a variety of music for audiobooks, podcasts, advertising and everything related to music production.
